Freeport Middle School of Maine visits Tumbling Rock Cave
Saturday May 27, 2006 I had the wonderful opportunity to share my passion of caving and a beautiful place with some youngsters from Freeport Middle School, Maine. We traveled back to the Topless Dome for a half hour of light and sound. Total time in cave was about 4 hours 15 minutes. Helping me with the group was Michelle Vaughn and James DeForest (thanks guys! :-) ) Clay and Lisa were the teachers for this group. Also along on the trip was some wonderful chaperones. I have noting but great things to say of this group. They were interested in the cave and some of most well behaved kids I have every worked with on an endeavour like this. They really raised the bar for me and it was a real pleasure being their guide.
